I am overweight and have pain in my joints ... these are great. I especially like to walk and they give me the support I need. ' I have jogged just 7 miles in these shoes so far, but they are noticably better for running than the cross trainers by another manufacturer I was using before (I still love and prefer those shoes for playing indoor volleyball). These are much easier on my legs and feet, and especially my knees than a lot of other shoes. The 14 4E fit me as I expected they would. I have had some shoes that show noticable wear after just a couple of outings, because I tend to scuff my heels. These seem like they will hold up well. I could not see any wear.
